A New Movement Is Brewing

|Gabriel Benavides

Welcome to Wonder Apparel! ☺️✨

As we begin this new era in the blogging space, we hope you join us with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to dive deeper into the conversations we explore in each post. One thing we want to make clear from the beginning: Wonder was never meant to be just an apparel brand. This brand was created to build a community—one that not only supports our values and beliefs, but also inspires others to join us in changing the world for the better.

From our perspective, the world is currently going through a period of transformation. The walls of old political and social systems are beginning to crack, and new ways of thinking about leadership, community, and responsibility are slowly emerging. Yet for the past decade, many voices across the political spectrum have tried to convince us that empathy and inclusivity are weaknesses. We’ve been told that diversity somehow makes societies weaker—that a group made of similar people is always stronger than one made up of people with different identities, backgrounds, and perspectives.

At Wonder Apparel, we call BS on that.

Wonder Apparel exists because we believe that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are essential to building a healthier and more just society. We believe that ideas rooted in hate, division, or exclusion ultimately weaken us all. The purpose of this blog is to help build a community willing to challenge toxic systems, resist division, and work together toward a brighter, more hopeful future.

Through the beautiful artwork created by our designer and the stories shared by our founder, we hope this blog becomes a place where people can step away from the noise and toxicity of today’s political and social climate. More importantly, we hope it inspires you to stand up to injustice.

One thing we understand deeply is that this work is not about us—it is about the people we want to support. That’s why each month we dedicate a portion of our profits to nonprofit organizations working on the front lines. This includes groups that provide legal assistance to immigrants, organizations like The Trevor Project that support LGBTQIA+ youth facing difficult circumstances, and efforts that challenge injustices within immigration enforcement systems.

Our goal is to use this platform to raise awareness and help build a movement that inspires younger generations to step forward and fight for a better world.

The moment has never been more important. It is time to stand up, lift our heads, and take the first step toward getting our country back on track—for the well-being and dignity of all people.

Welcome to the Wonder family.

Let’s create a better future together. 😊✌🏼🩵✨
